Brickhouse Learning, LLC is a language school focused on the teaching of foreign, second, and heritage languages for all ages.

What We Do

Our services break down into four areas: Writing Services (academic and business editing), Accent Modification, Language Teaching for Adults (in-person/virtual, groups/individual), and Language Teaching for Children (in-person/virtual, groups/individual). In addition, Brickhouse Learning, LLC offers entertainment services (dba Guppy Puppets) both in-person and virtual.

Who We Are

Michael Coggins holds a BA in Linguistics, an MA in South Asia (India) Studies, and an MA in TESOL. He has taught ESL for over 18 years at various universities and adult education in the USA as well as in India. He is proficient in Spanish, French, Russian, Hindi, and Marathi, and not bad at Klingon. Michael believes in teaching as a “guide on the side” not as the “sage on the stage,” focusing on students' needs and goals. His stage ambitions are exclusively focused on puppetry and creative storytelling, a love and hobby he has formally developed and infused with his life-long love of languages.
